(Own translation from Danish)
Line Holten Reimer focuses on investment strategies and due diligence within the life science sector through her job at SEED Capital. Asked of why she has invested this energy of her spare time in the project, she explains:
"When contacted by the Danish doctor and founder Henriette Svarre it was an obvious choice for me.
Henriette was putting together an organisation of professionals with very different profiles, with energies that jointly could make a difference for so many women whose only wish is a safe birth where mother and child can survive. To transform professional analytical skills into life saving activities is very gratifying and challenging.
Participating in building this organisation is a fine experience in how professional strategies are crucial to make an organisation successful, whether it is for profit or non-profit."
The next goal for the six fiery souls is the establishment of a midwifery school in Ethiopia.
