New Portfolio Company enters Mobile World Congress contest
(3.2.2009) Digital Display Glasses for Mobile TV to be launched at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
SEED Capital has invested in Mobintech who introduces the first digital Personal Display Glasses (PDG) for Mobile TV in the world, offering better picture quality, ultra-lightweight Danish design and up to double the battery lifetime compared to watching mobile TV on the mobile screen. The digital signal ends flickering as known from analogue display glasses and the fact that no extra cables or batteries are needed enables satisfying mobility due to lighter and smaller design.
The PDG supports the growing trend of Mobile TV and replaces the small screen on the mobile phone with a window equivalent to watching a 30" TV from a distance of 2 meters.
February 16th. Mobintech will compete at this year Mobile World Congress in Barcelona for a price as the most promising mobile technology. The congress is acknowledged as the most important event for industrial manufactures worldwide.
Together with a mobile phone equipped with a digital TV-out interface, the digital PDG creates new possibilities for mobile operators and mobile content suppliers in making more revenue from content services like mobile TV.
