Stirling Denmark is the world's first and only provider of a CO2 neutral combined heat and power plant, based on a biomass fired Stirling Engine.
The increasing prices of fossil fuels and lack of sustainable bio alternatives on the energy market give Stirling Denmark a unique position on the world market.
At the time being, no other technology is capable of delivering small combined heat and power units for bio fuels.
Founder and professor at DTU, Henrik Carlsen, is today recognized as one of the world leading experts and academics within applied Stirling engine technologies and his engine designs have demonstrated continuous operation on bio fuels, where all other attempts to provide stable solutions so far have failed.
Stirling Denmark's market focus is based on delivery to other large-scale manufacturers, who can use the technology and components in larger productions. Stirling Denmark has already sold its first products in Europe and will maintain a strong focus on this region because of the strong interest in alternative fuel concepts.
